If it makes you feel any better, my comments are way down, too. I assumed it was just me, and I pissed one too many people off with my "Kiss My Grits" post from a couple of weeks ago. It was one of those venting posts that you write when you're in a foul mood. I guess you're never allowed to be in one n the blogosphere.

I thought switching from Echo to Disqus would up my comment count, seeing as the latter is more user friendly, but I'm still watching them decline. Maybe I'm getting more and more boring. I don't know.

Anyway, I wish I had a Trader Joe's. The nearest one is like an hour away. I keep reading all this good stuff about it online--I can now add great oreos to that list--but I just haven't gotten to the point yet where I want to drive an hour to buy the good stuff. I'm jealous that you have one nearby. All I have is Kroger, Walmart, Target, and Publix.

Stephanie: They do have good produce but not a lot of it, at least at the one by me. I don't like how the store is laid out, there isn't enough room in the aisles and no one seems to know which way to go. There is no flow to the store. I love their sushi and hummus as well.

Pricilla: That is a lot of rock!

Dave: Thanks Dave, I'm glad you are enjoying the weather and that your stats are up. But you have snakes down there! I do think Conan got the shaft but he came out ok. I'm sure all will be fine in the late night world after the Olympics.

Hi Jen, I don't like Leno, never watched Conan, think he got the shaft (if you can call getting 32 million the shaft), John Edwards is a piece of crap (actually he is lower than that), my stats have been up, but I credit a lot of that due to Adgitize advertising that recently started. We don't have SAD in the Philippines, temps in the upper 80's with sunshine (I know, it's a hard life here.) Always enjoy your funny and personal posts.

I don't know about the Trader Joe's cookies but I wish we had one around here for the produce selection! Wow I found some neat yummy stuff the last time we were at one.

Cat Lady: It was a full moon? Well that explains it. It's been so cloudy here recently I haven't been able to see the moon so I had no idea. Thanks for letting me know.

Hey, Jen! It was definitely a crazy week... up to the big full moon finish! That always explains a lot! Thanks for the heads up about the change of location for your other blog.

GDad: Thanks for updating the link. I wonder where everyone is? Maybe all my readers are from California and they are just too busy getting out of the way of the mudslides. I'm pretty sure I have readers on the east coast too.

Moooog: Never underestimate the power of annoyance.

PJ: I'm sure Conan will do his part to help out in whatever way he can. You might be right that he will be penniless after everyone else gets there hand on his money but I have a hard time fathoming how someone could earn $32 million and have nothing to show for it.

Surfie: I know JD is gone but I didn't hear that anyone else was. JD makes a lot of noise but she isn't that loud to shut down the blogosphere just because she is off in the tropics running around naked. Maybe everyone figures since she wasn't around to do anything for them that they might as well take a break too. Who knew she had so much on her shoulders. The girl really does need a break.

I just checked on TraderJoes.com and they don't sell online. But if you really want them I can send you some. Don't forget the Girl Scout cookies however.

Heather: I'll keep an eye out for your brother, thanks for passing that on to him.

I haven't tried Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Almond Chip Cookies but I think I might make a special trip to find me some. I realize that they are probably a gateway cookie but I'm sure I can just eat them recreationally without developing a problem.

I was just telling hubby last night, that attendence was down.
Maybe everybody still hasn't gotten back into the groove of this yet.

I sent a link to your other blog to my brother.
