I've been using Disqus for months now and have been very happy with it. I think it helps keep the spam comments out. Love the features of it.
But I must say if I were to post what you just did I would not get the great response you got.
When the redhead speaks her followers listen.
Thanks for getting more people on Disqus maybe some will drop by my place.

Thanks for writing the tutorial about hitching up your blog to Disqus so it shows when you comment. I had no idea I hadn't done that till I read your post.
