Have you seen these funny looking bar code thingies around the web or maybe in magazines? Do you wonder what they are for? If you have a cell phone you can download an app that can scan these little doohickies. You can download the app by going to your app store and looking for QR Code readers. Once you have downloaded the app you scan the image and BAM it will take you to some cool place on the web, send you a text message, or call you on the phone.

It’s pretty cool, but so far I haven’t figured out any practical purpose for it yet. Of course, I’ve only been playing with it for about five minutes.
If you know of any practical purpose for this thing please leave it in the comments. I know there are all kinds of cool things to do with it but so far I can’t think of any. And by cool things I mean ways I can make money with it.
