Hi Jen -
Just downloaded your ebook and hope to put the info/freebies to use if I can ever get my own blog going! Am thinking of serializing my mashup of "The Scarlet Letter" (now with vampires! see above...). Anyway, I'm sorry I didn't see your Kickstarter project until tonight, and I hope you're still able to meet your goal of self-publishing your book by next month. You wouldn't happen to have any more Kickstarter invites, would you? Best of luck with everything.

There is just something wrong with the name E-Junkie. Just sayin'

Glad you are feelin' better. My mother had a wind up clock that chimed the hours. Drove all us kids batty. Now my brother has it. I think he is driving his kids batty. Ah, tradition.

JD: thanks I hope you get to it this year or the next, whenever. I do hope you can make some time for holiday cheer and all that stuff. I hate editing, as everyone can well see.

Comedy Plus: When we got Stanley from the Humane Society (he was the lone puppy in the puppy room as all his 10 brother and sisters had been adopted) my son wanted to name him Butch. That wouldn't work for me on so many levels but mainly because the dog just looked like a Stanley. He had these huge ears that his body hadn't grown into and he would trip over them when he walked. Butch just doesn't say "dorky" the way Stanley does. Also my parents had a basset hound named Stanley (he was before my time) and when they suggested the name is just stuck.

Lola: that's really creepy, I'm sure he is a wonderful young man but ewwww. I did get your email, did I not respond?

PJ: I have a little of the AR in me and I love the sound of all the clocks ticking but then I forget about them and it's all about setting the time again. On the older analog clocks (the kind that wind up and don't have batteries) you can only move the hands forward so if the time is 9:00 but the clock says 9:45 you can either wait 45 minutes before starting it, which is why I forget and miss it, or you can move the minute hand around the face of the clock about 11 and 3/4 times.
I've been faking it for years and years. I hate them too.
I am feeling better, it might have been a hormonal thing, I still know the day won't turn out the way I would really like it to, I haven't made the appropriate preparations for that. My expectations are too high based on the damn commercials. Not expectations really but desire. Whatever. I'd like to have a nice family gathering but we are so nearly estranged it won't happen and if it were to it would end with some drama, like most do. I am looking forward to the holiday with my kids, don't get me wrong, but I am with them 365 days a year and it's difficult to make a special occasion out of us three when we already do that the rest of the year.

One would have to be anally retentive to keep up with the clocks. Oh wait, that's me!

Glad your cookies went over so well! I

And I hope you're feeling more 'up'. You didn't say you were, so I'm thinking you may not be. You know what they say, "fake it til you make it'. I've always hated them.

Poor Stanley. Even his name fits him huh?

I hear you on the clocks. That would take me over the edge.

Have a terrific day. :)

I'm looking forward to reading my e-book, maybe this weekend. Or maybe after the holidays. Or maybe when I finish this never-ending editing project. Or . . .

Well, regardless, I'm looking forward to reading it. I've heard good things about it!

(Glad you're feeling a bit better.)

Anne: there is something wrong with it. I think the keys are smaller or something. I am making all kinds of mistakes. Maybe it's all the drugs? I don't know. I'm glad you enjoyed the book, let me know if you have any questions, ok?
