Jen, what a gorgeous family you have! Adore the redheads, (and the blond too). So adorable! You look way too young to have that big guy Alex for a son!

Too cute. And, if you don't mind me saying, your ex -- or exes -- are idiots. I mean that in a nice way.

Katherine: Maddie dresses herself and I am always stunned by what she comes up with. I was a child who wore Garanimals and my mother would not let me leave the house if my clothes didn't match...exactly. Maddie wears polka dots and stripes in clashing colors. She layers her clothes in some bizarre mixture. Tights on the outside of shorts, dress underneath t-shirts, etc. This might be another reason the teacher doesn't care for me that much. I let her wear what she wants. If she could wear her wings to school, the ones we bought at the Renaissance Festival, she would.

Ron: Isn't that how we all wish we could eat a bagel? Or any food for that matter. She really enjoys her food, not just the taste but the feel of it against her skin. We should all eat that way.

JD: Thank you, I love hearing that. I always thought I was an old mom when Alex was born. I was 27. I was ancient when Maddie was born, 37. At almost 44 I can't understand the people who have kids after the age of 40 let alone 30. And that Dugger woman who has been having one every year for the past 20yrs is just insane. I would never suggest that women have kids when they are teens but if I had I would be finished with the whole thing by now.

Margo: No one ever uses that word "Crinoline" anymore. How cute that she knows what they are. I had my mother's crinolines from when she was bopping around in those big skirts, I actually used them, when I got married, under my wedding dress.

Kristina P: it is statements like that that would make Maddie "Roar" at other guests in Target. They would walk up to her, usually women but not always, and say they wanted her hair. Maddie thought they were going to take her hair and she would start to cry the first few times it happened. After she realized that they wouldn't actually take her hair she would just roar and put her hands up like a lion is supposed to and try to scare them off. I spent most of my time apologizing to guests at Target. It was just easier not to bring her after a while.

Dddiva: Thank you, she was a big bagel fan then, never ate the bagel but loved to lick the cream cheese off of them. Stanley would benefit because he would get the discarded bagel. It was a win-win for everyone.
