What’s On Your Refrigerator?

This is what my refrigerator looks like. Right now it happens to be pretty clean. I tend to stick all of the important things on the fridge because I know where to look for them. This is my filing system. When it fills up and things start falling off or I have no more magnets left I clean it up. I pitch what is out dated and save for real filing later in the junk drawer. This gets cleaned out whenever I move.

As horribly unorganized as the outside of my refrigerator is the inside is even worse. There is nothing past the date in there except for maybe the salad dressing, it’s just unorganized. If you look closely you can see at least three pounds of butter. I keep losing it in the mess so I buy more. It surfaces eventually and I then freeze some. I am never out of butter. This too gets organized when I move.

Well, they do say that organized people are just too lazy to look for things, so that fridge doesn’t make you look lazy at all.

It actually sounds like your system is quite a plus, since it makes sure you’re always stocked with butter. I find it to be pretty useful stuff–half my recipes don’t turn out nearly as well without it.

You sure have a stuffed refrigerator! Mine never was that full, ever!

It’s mostly condiments, they never expire. It’s also a very small fridge. Funny, it is stocked but everyone complains there is nothing to eat.

What’s in the casserole dish on the top shelf? (I’m nosy.)

Turkey shepherds pie. Daughter actually said she liked it.

Thank you. My curiosity is sated. But now I’m hungry for turkey shepherd’s pie.
